disgruntled pensioner
It is a sad, sad day when one of the very large corporates, First National Bank ( FNB) decides to treat it`s staff ( now pensioner ) with absolute disdain and contempt !!! Let me enlighten you. 1 ) After asking multiple times for my 2016/17 IRP 5 documents I gave up... This after the HR dept ( Mrs A Bennett ) tried her very best to get the relevant department to respond .This is also a legal requirement that they choose to ignore . 2) It is also a legal requirement for the FPAS division of FNB to supply us pensioners a monthly statement of income. December came and went with no statement whats so ever . I email the relevant individual ( D Mafojane ) 3 times over 3 consecutive weeks in January, without success.. Eventually I resorted back to HR ( Mrs Bennett) who gladly forwarded my correspondence to the same individual, plus D Rao, and Y Naraidoo.( head of operations) This still had no effect. I then threatened to go directly to the CEO ( Mr J Cilliers )and Hello Peter, and suddenly the statements arrived !!! Unfortunately this was`nt the end of my problems. There were discrepancies on the statement. So once again ,back to HR , who in turn referred the email on to the same Mr Y Naraidoo ( and cc me in ). That was on the 25th January. No reply whats so ever, once again... I then emailed him directly on the 31st January, as a follow up. Well, to date I have`nt had a call or an email or sms, NOTHING. ( 12th Feb ) Clearly these individuals, on behalf of this organization ( FNB ) are not interested in their past staff ( even after giving 16 years of my working life to them ). Maybe its a case of shareholders first and "skrew" the rest... Or possibly they take the same attitude as the government, "who cares ! "" I just wonder if the CEO ( Mr J Cilliers ) has any idea that his staff are degrading his organization like this ?? It would be interesting to hear his views. Maybe they should have more people like Mrs A Bennett !!!!
What to do next ???
