Disgruntled FNB customer - lack of competency and customer service
I live in the UK but still do a lot of banking with FNB, I managed to let me card expire as I don't use it anymore and I am in England so couldn't go and just pick up a new one. I then managed to lock myself out of my internet banking which in turn also locked me out of my mobile app banking. To reset then password it requires you to input card nr and pin (which I didn't have.) I emailed FNB and got given an email address, ***, the told me to fill out a form that authorises a rep to collect it on my behalf. My rep visited the Centurion FNB only to be turned away as they are not a signatory on my account (I know that's why I gave them authorisation. I then proceeded to call FNB (which cost me £80) only to be thrown from pillar to post. Being a Premier account holder they still couldn't help me and provided no solutions. They put me through to the online team AGAIN who said they couldn't help me either as my credit card was still active, and they couldn't reset my password either. only for the call to get cut off, my PATIENCE and finances ran out and couldn't be bothered to call back for the fourth time. Seriously disappointed that during this time they were not interested in keeping customers.
