Disgraceful Behaviour

My mum passed away on the 8th August, she had been married to my dad for 50 years. My dad went to the Lambton branch and gave them the death certificate and was told her account was closed. On Thursday my dad had a hernia operation and about 10 mins before he went under anaesthetic he received a call from FNB asking for my mum. When he came round he was distraught because he thought he had been in a dream and because FNB had rang he had hope she was still alive. The person in the branch had done nothing with the death certificate except take a copy. I hope this never happens to anyone else, but FNB shame on you this is disgraceful. With all the retrenchments going on in the banking sector it really shows they don't care one jot about people.
