Discovery and FNB not cancelling debit order despite many efforts from my side
Simphiwe (Discovery) on Friday 31/07/2020 at around 09:16 promised to get back to me the same day regarding cancelling the debit order on my FNB cheque account for my Discovery Card. She did not.
Between Discovery and FNB, both are giving me the runaround to cancel it. FNB (in-branch) said I must contact Discovery. Discovery says I must contact FNB.
I have app**** for COVID-19 relief from end of March to both FNB and Discovery. Both have not gotten back to me but yet the debit order keeps on trying to go through, with extra charges. I need this debit order cancelled with immediate effect and all extra charges refunded to me.

04 Aug 2020, 09:32So YET AGAIN, FNB is passing me back to Discovery. Firstly, I app**** for relief via emails at the end of March and beginning of April, IN WRITING, to both FNB and Discovery. Both ignored my emails. Now FNB says I didn't apply. Lies! Secondly, Discovery says FNB must cancel the Debit Order and now FNB is saying Discovery must cancel it. What now? See FNB's response to me below.
Good day Mr. Abel
Thank you for the email, we apologise for the inconvenienced caused.
Please note that the covid-19 cash flow relief application was not completed, you had to complete it and submit supporting documents but now the application process has closed.
We are not in a position to work on debit order cancellation since we work on the covid-19 complaints.
We have escalated the request to cancel the debit order to *** for them to assist.
Yours Sincerely,
FNB Covid-19 Complaints Team
