Disappointing communication and experience

I have been with FNB for a little over 8 years, I decided to apply for a credit card with them three weeks ago and till date my application is being processed. What irkes me is that I have not got so much as an email or sms to tell me what the status of my application is. Everytime I call their call center I have to deal with seemingly ill informed / *********** staff who consistently have differing feedback. I may not bank a lot of money wit you but my experience these last three weeks has me considering switching banks. Your customer service has been poor.

Reviewer Update
2 days since my review and I have received two responses from FNB one that starts with Good day (insert customer name) no decency to even insert my name but then again that's what happens when you are just a number. Second communication received is an sms asking for a declaration document which I submitted a month ago. I called their call center and I was advised that I need a letter from their Forex department regardless of the fact that I do not deal with Forex no have I ever transacted in foreign currency in my 7 years with FNB. i HAVE BEEN PUSHED FROM PILLAR TO POST BY A CLEARLY *********** BUNCH OF INDIVIDUALS PLEASE PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY DECENCY LEFT.. WORST BANK EVER WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE....
