Disappointing and Putrid Service
FNB Insurance Client bumped my car on 29 January 2025, all required documentation for Third Party Claim was submitted to Neil Govender Attorneys. Matter is handled by an arrogant and inhuman Lineker Marrian and *********** Puleng Mosime - FNB Recoveries and Liabilities Specialist.
After submission was advised the claim will be under validation without being told of its duration, after numerous follow ups was advised validation period is 90 days and was scheduled to end on 14 May 2025. Since the car is used daily and because of negligence of FNB Insurance, damages caused resulted in car rain going through and causing more damages, Puleng was advised of this and nothing fruitful happened. We then enlisted the services of attorney to file civil claim against FNB Insurance client who after receiving Letter of Demand sent it to Neil Govender Attorneys, perhaps his aim was to get Neil Govender Attorneys to speed up the process, but the same arrogant Lineker Marrian responded to say since there is an attorney appointed the process has changed and will start from beginning.
I have known FNB to have a reputable reputation and I have to understand how it enlists the services of a firm that does not care about the needs of its clients or its reputation at heart, a firm that is represented by someone who does not care about the damage he/she causes on the image of FNB insurance and an employee who does not bother to see to it claims are attended to and resolved within the agreed SLA, instead she agrees and condones PUTRID Service Rendered by the attorneys that should be upholding the values and integrity of a Bank it has entrusted them with safeguarding her employer's interest and reputation.
Maybe the emphasis should be placed on the fact that civil claim is against your client who bumped and caused serious damages on our car, civil claim is not against FNB Insurance nor Neil Govender Attorneys. Now, what does not make business or legal sense is the insinuation by Neil Govender Attorneys they have received a Letter of Demand which was sent to them by your client of whom the civil claim is against therefore the process is starting from the scratch.
Brenda Dladla also indicated the process must start afresh as now there are lawyers involved, on what legal basis is the process starting all over?
This is a Third-Party Claim. all necessary documentation required was sent to Neil Govender Attorneys, Letter of Demand was issued against Mr. Ayman Gerges alone not against FNB Insurance and/or Neil Govender Attorneys and the Combined Summons will be issued only against your client Mr. Ayman Gerges not FNB Insurance or Neil Govender Attorneys.
FNB Insurance and Neil Govender Attorney's conduct will not help in this situation, but it is definitely working against FNB Insurance client Mr. Ayman Gerges, perhaps you will only take this matter seriously when the Judgement and Writ of Execution of moveable goods is granted against Mr. Aymen Gerges.
It is apparent Neil Govender Attorneys is running the show, FNB Insurance is not and does not have the best interest of its client at heart.
We demand this matter be resolved as in yesterday, the validation scheduled ended on the 14th of May 2025 and Neil Govender Attorneys should make a decision to approve or repudiate the claim. With that said, the civil claim against Mr. Ayman Gerges will continue till we are fully compensated for damages he caused.
