Disappointed with Service - FNB

An authorised debit order was deducted from my account noted as “annual S/C charger ********** ”.

I had my Bank, FNB, investigate the debit order and they confirmed that the account was debited directly by standard bank.

I called standard bank who basically declined to help me, without even attempting to hear the full story, stating that another company must have used their business account to debit my account and stated that they are not responsible for the debit(once again- without even checking)

They proceeded to state the FNB did not do a proper, thorough investigation. I then called FNB who confirmed that their investigation concluded that the amount debited was directly from Standard bank and not by another company using the standard bank business account.

At this point, I am being pushed back and forth between Standard bank and FNB and neither is taking responsibility for determining the source of the debit order.

The amount debited is not substantial, however I am aware of every debit order I am liable for and this is not one of my schedules debits. I therefore cannot accept an unauthorised debit order on the basis that the amount is not substantial.

My credit rating could be affected by this!

I am disgusted with the Service by my Bank, FNB as well as Standard Bank- who refuses to be of assistance. At this point I would expect that someone from FNB takes responsibility and contacts Standard bank directly, to clarify the miscommunication, however this has not been done, because each bank is hoping that I will roll over and forget about this.

With the amount of ***** occurring every day, I cannot accept such poor service from banks like FNB and Standard bank. How many other clients are being ****med without them being aware?

FNB, as my bank, I expected you to be more helpful with remedying this situation.
