Disappointed in FNB during lock down

Surprisingly disappointed with the service from FNB on a whole. During this lock down period they have not been accommodating whatsoever. Initially i messaged them on their online service on the app to gain some clarity as to what documents and procedures i would need to follow as i am living in a complex and want to update my address to this current address. This meaning i have no utility bill to this address and my land lord would have to vouch for me. This was explained by me on the app twice as the only answer received what that i need a proof of address and proof of identification. It was not stated that the fnb branch holds their own form that would need to be signed by my landlord.

This passed Saturday 13th June i went to the Fnb i. Springfield Durban branch to be informed that my affidavit is not acceptable and my landlords utility bill that was only 5 days over tbe 3 month period is not valid as well. This being his most up to date bill received by him as it is the lock down period still. I was instructed to go to my nearest councilor who will accept ny word for it that the expired utility bill is actually where i stay and this would make fnb's process valid. (a ridiculous process)

They provided me with the necessary forms and I now need to use a family members updated utility bill to change my address (even though this is not where i stay) i proceed now on Monday 15 June back to the FNB branch which my updated utility bill and documentation required to simply update my address so i can renew my car license. Only to be informed that the form is not valid because the owner of the utility bill did not fill out his second name on the form given to me by the FNB branch.

I will now have to go into the branch for the 3rd time after attempting to make this process easier by addressing the online messaging service initially.

I am dissatisfied and disappointed to have not received any kind of assistance or grace from FNB especially during this Lock Down period.

They have not put their customer first in this instance.

I have been a member of this bank for many years and I'm quiet suprised that this process is so ridiculous to update my address. Mind you i will travel now to the branch for the third time to update my address and it still will not be the address of where i am currently residing. Yes this is lengthy because I am fuming.

Thank you
