Disappointed by FNB's Maladministration

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an issue that has caused us significant frustration and inconvenience.

Last year, my husband and I requested that his account be linked to mine under the spousal linkage associated with my Fusion Premier account. The purpose of this linkage was to ensure that he qualifies for the applicable spousal benefits, including discounted monthly fees and eBucks rewards linked to account activity.

However, it has recently come to my attention that this request was not correctly implemented. Instead of linking his account to my Fusion Premier profile, his account appears to have been linked to an entirely different profile, one that we do not recognize or have any knowledge of. I find it highly concerning that such a change could be made without our authorization or confirmation.

As a result of this error:

My husband has not received the spousal discount on his monthly fees. He has been completing eBucks qualifying activities without receiving any rewards. His account is not linked to mine as originally requested, defeating the purpose of the spousal benefit structure. This situation reflects a serious lapse in administration and is completely unacceptable, particularly as we are loyal FNB clients who trust the bank to manage our accounts correctly.

I request the following as a matter of urgency:

Immediate correction of the account linkage so that my husband’s account is properly linked to my Fusion Premier account. A full investigation into how this error occurred. Backdated application of all missed benefits, including spousal discounts and eBucks rewards. Appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and financial impact caused by this oversight. Please treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and provide feedback as soon as possible on how this will be resolved.
