Disappointed and inconsideration
I am dealing with Raylene Adams at collection department I would like to express my disappointment regarding the handling of my recent request for assistance with my home loan repayments.
I am a single mother and have been unemployed for the past year. During this difficult period, I have struggled to provide for my children while also trying to keep up with my home loan obligations. In an effort to find a workable solution, I proposed paying R18,000 per month for a period of two years until my financial situation improves.
I was asked to explain and submit my proposal, which I did in good faith. However, after providing the requested information, my proposal was declined. This has left me feeling frustrated and discouraged, as it seems there was little consideration given to my circumstances despite being asked to provide details.
I understand that the bank has policies and requirements, but I also need to be able to afford basic living expenses, including food, transport to work, and caring for my children. At present, I feel as though I am being forced into a repayment arrangement that does not take my financial reality into account.
I am respectfully requesting that my case be reviewed again by a senior consultant or manager within FNB Home Loans. I would appreciate a fair assessment of my circumstances and consideration of a repayment arrangement that is sustainable for both the bank and myself.
I have always tried to meet my obligations and am committed to keeping my home loan account in good standing. I am simply asking for understanding and assistance during a challenging period in my life.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from someone who can assist with a review of my situation.
