Disappointed

I recently tried too get a further loan, on my homeloan application, I had to phone in myself to find out what was going on, I was told that I don't qualify for it. My reason for wanting it was to consolidate other debt, the first being a credit card, and also a car loan, with about a year left of payments. This loan would have made a R500 differnce on my bond per month, which I could easily afford, since I would not be paying the credit card or car anymore, and actually would help me , with a little bit disposible income of R2000 extra a month. My home bond originaly was for R550 000, but the place is worth atleast R650 000.

What I don't get is that I can qualify for a personal loan of R100 000, If I take the 60 000 I need the payback at it's lowest I was told would be 2200 a month, which does not give me the same flexibility as the homeloan option.

I am very dissapointed with this because I feel you are only willing to give me the option you will make more money of me. What happened to FNB being a bank for the individual. I really don't get how you are willing to give me the option I cannot afford.
