Disappointed

I made an immediate withdrawal from my 32 day notice at FNB,to my surprise the money did not come through to my account immediately yet I still got charged the penalty fee.I had a chat with one of the bankers via the App and was told it will take 24 hours for the money to come through.What does immediately mean if I still need to wait 24 hours and be penalised at the same time.I am utterly disappointed.
