Device Early settlement

FNB Device early settlement violates the consumer protection act, I have just three months left for my device with an amount R747.00.
I wanted to settle this early just to find I will charged a penalty fee of R1200.00.
So instead of paying R249 X 3 = R747 I must pay R747.00 + R1200.00 = R1947.00
How the heck does work and why must i be penalised when I want to pay my next three months instalments in advance.
This does not make sense at all I am not cancelling or wanting a discount but why must I pay a penalty for trying to be good client.
I pay all my bills in advance, Bond Credit card,Vehicle etc as I hate debt.
I am going to lodge a complaint with the consumer commission of South Africa.
