Destroyer's one of your own

I had and still do have a complaint against FNB.

My Mother worked for FNB for almost 23 years and loved everything about her job and what the bank stood for, she sadly passed away on the 22nd of May this year because of pancreas cancer.

The only thing she loved more then her work was her 4 children.

Me and my brother and two sisters had to watch her fade away and it was not easy. It didn't matter what we did or how much money we spent she still kept on fading away. She was in tears for most of the time, not because of the pain but because she was helpless and dependant on us.

We did all we could and with a smile, not knowing that we would be made to suffer even more after her passing because of FNB's neglect.

She invested her own money with Momentum and stated in writing that the money has to be equally distributed between her 4 children upon her death.

I am now amazed and stunned how this fund actually works

If she is alive she has the full right to take her investment and give it to whoever she pleases witch is fine after all its her money, but if she leaves this world her investment (her money) is not hers anymore and the board or so called FUND decides for her who and how the funds need to be distributed also they decide when the funds can be released, even if she stated that the money has to go to her children after her death.

I have been in constant contact with Momentum and FNB trying to get the money she left us and they basically showed me the door.

I don't have a place to call home and basically lost everything.

We were more then willing to put our lives on hold to be there for our Mother but we are not willing to do it for a Company just so that they can make more money from my own Mothers investment.

The board (FUND) had the opportunity to discuss the distribution of my Mothers investment on the 26th of August but they did not and gave no reason why. This was confirmed in writing.

They keep coming back to me stating that there might be someone else that needs to be included as a bennificiary and they have a year to decide it doesn't matter if I'm on the street or if my Sister (Mother of two) has to beg family for croseries

Lets get something straight my Mother only had us and we had her there was no one else and if anyone says different they are questioning my Mother's character and inelegance. She gave FNB 23 years of her life and was respected by everyone who worked with her, I know this because I use to take her to FNB Menlyn Main once a week for a year. I saw and was amaized how everyeone stoped what they were doing just to say hello and give her a hug.

The FUND will not discuss the matter and only say that we have to wait till the 20th of November no matter what. If you were not willing to descuss the matter on the 26th of August how will you then descuss it on the 20th of November? Asspecially since you blatently told me that you have a year to decide

You say you are trying to protect those who are excluded from my Mother's wishes but in fact you are destroying those who are beneficiary's by searching for someone who does not exist.
