Department of Home affairs at FNB The Grove

I had a very bad experience with The home affairs department at FNB The Grove. I have made an appointment last year to reapply for my passport. My appointment was made for the 6th of January 2021 where my husband and daughter had their appointments on the 5th of January 2021. All went well with their appointments, but the next day as I went for my appointment the branch was closed only with a note on the door that states it is closed due to unforeseen circumstances. I went there again the following day and it was still closed. I went there today 12/1/21 and they indicated that I have to reschedule the appointment. I am truly disappointed on how this situation was handled as this was not my fault and I did not receive any information from the branch as why it was closed and also when it will be open again. I tried phoning various times only to get to the call centre with nobody that could assist as to why the branch was closed or when it will be open again.. I have taken off from work only to have to take off work again for another appointment. It was not my fault that the branch was closed as I was also in time for the appointment only to arrive at closed doors with no answers.
