Demand Deposit

Hi I have been trying to obtain assistance with a demand deposit. It appears that FNB no longer provides assistance via their agents on the phone as everything has to be done online. Why is that so? It is very frustrating obtaining customer service from home with FNB as you are compelled to visit a physical branch.
