Delayed Refund Process for *****ulent Charge

I faced a troubling situation yesterday where my money was taken by a **** project linked to Gautrain(called on my bankjng app-Gautrain ctls local) when i was nowhere near the gautrain. I immediately reported this to my bank, expecting prompt assistance in recovering my funds. However, I was informed that it could take 7 to 30 working days to process the refund. This extended timeline for something as critical as ***** recovery is incredibly frustrating, especially considering that ****s of this nature can be devastating for individuals.

While I understand that the investigation and refund process may take time, the lack of urgency from my bank is disappointing. In situations where *****ulent activity is clear, I believe a more streamlined process should be in place to ensure that affected customers aren’t left financially vulnerable for extended periods.

I hope the bank can improve its response times in such cases to restore confidence in their ***** protection measures. For now, I’m left waiting for what feels like an unnecessarily long process to get my money back.
