Deflective Customer Service
I was contacted to provide tax information while abroad. My flexi-fixed deposit was frozen as a result which is fine, as admittedly I hadn't got to providing the information with there being no rush on my part. I have since provided all tax information which the bank acknowledged receipt of. After making numerous requests to unfreeze my bank account they have simply been deflective or ignored my requests all together. FNB are no different to any other bank in terms of the incompetence levels. The customer service department are deflective and are not held to account when it comes to doing basic administrative customer service tasks.

12 Oct 2023, 09:42FNB need to do a FICA update but the FICA update was unsuccessful (Telephonically) because they could find no record of a FNB existing in Magaliesburg (Where I opened my Bank Account). Now I need to email documents to them so they can find their own branch. This is honestly an embarrassment. So my bank account is still frozen Because I need to first tell FNB they have a branch in Magaliesburg. Maybe someone from FNB should go to Magalies Junction on Rustenburg road and document the existence of this branch. Do they think I managed to open a bank account at the Magaliesburg spar? I will not send anymore emails FNB because you don't respond to them. If I need something done I will be responding here on Hello Peter and other reviewing sites.
