Definition of Smart and SIMple not in vocabulary of FNB

Words cannot describe the frustration I have experienced over the last 4 weeks with my application for a Smart Device.

On 5 November I app**** for a Smart Device via FNB's site, got confirmation of my order that the delivery team will make contact to arrange delivery. A week later I have not been contacted yet to have delivery arranged, so I thought I'd call FNB to find out what is going on just to be advised that there is no stock and my order is on back order. I accepted this as I understood these things happen. I was upset though as no one bothered to keep me up to date.

By Friday ****h) after a few follow up calls, an agent called me back to confirm new stock has been ordered but she is not sure when it will be received but she will confirm with me on the following Monday. By Wednessday I was still not called back to which I had to call FNB once again. YAY! Stock was received for my order but FNB is struggling to get the stock online before I can proceed with the order. OK, these things happen. Perhaps I am just toooooo accepting. I basically became a stalker of FNB's website to see when the stock is listed.

On the 22nd I did a follow up call to FNB again. Agent was very friendly but caused my mood towards FNB to change. I was advised that the device I order was not the actual device received in stock but a different version and that stock for my initial order will not be received any time soon. I once again accepted this and was willing to change my order.

This morning I checked FNB's site again, got so excited, seems like the device is loaded, just to see that once again it is anothe version. Hope you are keeping up, this is the 3rd different item. I call FNB - no suprise there - to find out what is going on. After speaking to 4 agents, over a period of about 50 minutes, canceling my order I did on the 5th, obtaining confirmation from 2 agents that they have stock for the confirmed device on the 22nd, speaking to 1 agent attempting to capture my new order - but her system is giving her trouble - I was transferred to another agent who eventually after the whole credit check process tells me that device is not in stock and she cannot help me.

I love FNB, I have never had any issues with FNB, but this is beyond unacceptable. From not getting feedback to being sent from pillar to post, agents not knowing what is in stock and what isn't. Wasting 50min of my precious time, I am left with a cancelled order and an artery about to burst from frustration.

Please please please, can someone provide me with proper assistance and a valuable solution. It saddens me to see FNB's customer service going down the drain.
