Defining customer service - Mariette Malan

Last year we decided to add an extra room to our house so we went through the process of getting an extension on the home loan. All went well until the papers got to the lawyers and we realised that FNB suddenly decided to make the full app**** amount a building loan. This caused quite a number of headaches and left a terrible taste in my mouth dealing with FNB, but this also lead us to a lady by the name of Mariette Malan. What an awesome lady. She honestly puts the meaning back into customer service. In all my years dealing with banks (and I'm not a spring chicken anymore) I have NEVER met someone that goes out of her way to help and even more, to keep her promises like this lady does.

Mariette Malan, you are absolutely a treasure to any company and even more to any customer that crosses your path. If it was not for you, I would definitely have taken the contract FNB reneged on further.
