DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER BASED ON UNTRUE AND INACCURATE INFORMATION

DISGUSTED with FNB Personal loans! The fact that a bank can just note you as a "********** person" without valid or incorrect proof?!?!? List my character as immoral when they have it wrong!! Total defamation and not even discuss with me before they make such an accusation!! How unfair and prejudicial????

Firstly, I was notified under my FNB banking app that I was pre-approved for a loan. Of which I took up their offer under MY banking app. The app works that they draw the information off their records - I do not provide them any documents or bank statements (as obviously they have this already). The information they use is the information they obtain from my accounts and ITC. When hearing back from no one, and on MANY follow ups, the feedback I was given is that someone accidentally "purged" the application. I am not sure what that means but they told me I need to reapply again. This now adding to my frustration of no one bothering to respond, someone now clicked a wrong button (so I thought) and then having to start all over again. I decided to just leave it and never bothered further as my time had already been wasted.

The weeks later, I again received a notification under my banking app that I was again pre-approved for a personal loan. Decided to take up the offer again. Again this was done through the FNB banking app, no documents need to be submitted. I do not provide the information, they draw it from my records.

Again, no further feedback, and after several follow ups I get told the loan is declined but they can not say why. They will get someone to look into it. Once again....no feedback. Submit a complaint to FNB Complaints, which a generic email received of 24-48 hours turn around time, I again wait and wait. Only a week later does someone call from FNB saying they will investigate. Again another week passes, and all I get is an email telling me that the application could not go through and I quote their email: "There is a ***** listing under your name. Our ***** department has investigated the matter and it was found that you were listed on the FNB's internal ***** data base for attempting to apply for a loan using your wife's bank statement. Due to that conduct we are unable to assist you with a loan application." FNB! Please provide proof where I submitted such documents to FNB?? I have never had to submit bank statements??? Something is VERY wrong here and I demand that my moral character be rectified by FNB as clearly someone has done something wrong on your side and now I must suffer the consequences???!!! A clear defamation of character!! I am not leaving this here, if you are not going to investigate as something is clearly not right, or provide evidence of such allegations, I am taking this to the banking Ombudsman, social media and seeking legal representation which will be for the costs of FNB as this was created by you!! I am shocked that such allegations can be made when you know yourselves I don't provide you bank statements on your online app!!! Yet you don't care about my reputation and put red flags on your system without a thought or consultation with myself!! I have these false allegations in black and white from FNB on paper, and I will not leave it here as this should NEVER happen without proper evidence and investigation!!

Basically, at the moment as it stands, my money is useless with FNB, as someone pushed a wrong button somewhere, and now my reputation and moral character is destroyed with FNB due to false allegations!!!

I WANT THIS SORTED - MONTHS I HAVE BEEN MESSED AROUND ALREADY!! AND A FORMAL APOLOGY!
