Debt Review: FNB refusing to refund funds pad to my account; FNB harassing me regarding arrears

DEBT REVIEW: RUDE / BORDERLINE THEFT / HARASSMENT REGARDING ARREARS

FNB, I entered debt review nearly four months ago. FNB. I, just two weeks ago received a call regarding arrears on one of my accounts. Accounts were already in negotiation phase at that stage and the agent could not pick it up on the system. Advised to call my negotiations attorney, she refused, got manager on the phone, he got defensive and rude. And the call ended. Please clarify what your stance is on contacting your customers in debt review regarding arrears? If this is not permissable, kindly account.

Secondly, I have now had two letters submitted, one from my attorney, and three emails sent to the debt review deparment regarding monies that were paid into my account during this process. These payments were: a regular, twice monthly payment that arose out of a settlement agreement in my favoue - bank details which formed part of that agreement. My negotiations attorney was able to reclaim one of them, however, for two months now, I have heard nothing on the refund I am due. I will require it immediately please, it is not yours to withhold particularly considering the muliple emails and letters you have been sent by myself. Furthermore, Sureswipe issued a refund of R1,000 to my accounts - again automatically issued. Letters have been submitted, phone calls made, and I have seen nothing of it. Simialrly, Outsurance paid in excess of R4,000 for a refund on car excess. Again, this was auto-generated and there is not much more I can do to prove this in this regard.

The issues remains: FNB called me 4 months into debt review regarding arrears FNB are STILL charging me for use of my RCP, taking my account more and more overdrawn. Why am I still being charged there? Why does the relevant department not bother responding to my emails, and get rude on the phone? FNB, is the debt review department not in place to support those undergoing the process? What is stipulated in law in regards to the amound of time you take to address issues that are of huge concern to your customers.

Frankly, 3 months to wait for FNB to refund me me nearly R7k - and still having the audacity to charge me for my revolving loan and devices in the interim making it more and more unlikely I should ever see those funds - that is unless FNB decide to perhaps action a refund in line with the handful of emails I have sent.

Your debt review department is appalling - on a service level, an offering level.

Refund me the money due back to me- you should quite easily trace the history of it all in email exchanges and telephone logs.
