Debt collectors

Hello Peter, I had a personal loan of 13541.56 which was handed to the debt collectors. on 29/06/2022 I was offered a 55% settlement and the account will be closed. I paid the account as proposed but to my surprise the account is not closed and it is handed over to the other debt collectors. please help
