Debit Order Fees

I would like to know why FNB charged me R720 for bounced debit orders that was no fault of mine. The Standard Bank salary crisis - 25 March 22 which caused a delay in may people receiving their salaries late.

We have received confirmation from Standard Bank that all the payments have now completed processing. We understand that certain debit orders processed for the 25th of March 2022 may be negatively affected. Affected employees may wish to consider taking the following action in manging these failed debit orders: • Contact their service providers as soon as possible to make alternative payment arrangements The process to reimburse the costs associated with failed debit orders will be discussed with Standard Bank and we will advise further in this regard. Please accept our profound apologies for the impact this has had on your business and your employees. We will engage with Standard bank to fully understand the root cause of this incident and we will revert to you with an update. You are welcome to reach out to us should you have any queries.

I need the R720 bank charges reversed please. This was not my issue and I dont see why I need to be penalised for this.
