Debit Order Dispute & payment Date Update Request.

I called in to FNB today 26/09/2019 to change my debit order date as I’ve started a new job and thus my pay date changed. The lady I spoke to asked me almost 7 security questions, which to be polite was not needed. With that being said I passed the Authority questions and asked if I could change my debit order date for my loans and credit card payment to be taken off on the 25th instead of the 20th.

She advised that I would need to send a letter from the new employer stating that I’m now getting paid the 25th of every month.

I am being proactive this avoiding for the payment to decline when collected on the 20th. She advised that I would need to wait till the 25th for the money to become available and then call us to let them know that my pay date has changed .. this confused me beyond measure.

Second, I set up an arrangement for my personal loan, this due to various of personal problems and we came to an agreement where I am still offering to make half of the installment on a monthly basis.

They took the half amount on the 19th of September and again the full installment on the 24th of September. To give more detail or some sort of intro to my current issues is that my daddy’s kidney is working on 10%, lost my mommy due to Alzheimer’s 4 months ago, and I’m getting anxiety attacks at night thinking about my debts, can’t sleep and I am trying to avoid having to slip into depression.

All i want from them is to. Change my payment date to the 25th of every month for my credit card, and FNB loan and all other deductions to be done on that day, also for the second installment of the loan to be returned into my bank account. And for us to continue with the arrangement as agreed.

Nothing more nothing less.
