DEBIT ORDER DISPUTE

On the 25th of January 2018 I got a deduction in my account of R1300. I went to the Victorian FNB branch to reverse the unknown deduction. One of the consultants logged a call for me, I was told by the person on the phone that the deducted amount can not be reversed. When I get home I phoned the fnb debit order dispute number using my mobile phone, I explained everything to the consultant on the phone, she told me for such a dispute I need to fill some dispute forms which she emailed to me. I filled the forms and I emailed those forms to an email address she gave to me ********** on the 05th of February 2018. She told me the process of investigation will take approximately 10 days. On the same day I received an email from the same email address which stated that the queries which can be attended to are only those disputes which exceeded 40 days. I went back to Victorian fnb branch to follow up on the dispute. But I did not get any joy, hence I was told I need to do the follow up on my own. I did the follow up on the phone I was told I must do another dispute because the previous one does not appear on their system.
