Debit order changes

I started a new job in january, and my salary date changed. I have now tried to move my debit orders, internal, for my bond, device, and loans to the first as opposed to the 25th for three consecutive months now. The bond debit order date appears to be correct now, the loan and device dates are still a mess. Despite assurance that it has been changed after every single phonecall, it just does not happen.
I moved money to my account today, and it just got swallowed up. Today is the 27th. Upon phoning FNB, a very helpful individual by the name of Lee, confirmed the debit order dates had not been changed, and he assured me it has now. I have been disconnected from three calls since then, as Lee was powerless to assist me with reversing the debit order.
The money is intended for a transaction this evening, and if that debit order bounces, it is yet another R140 penalty that FNB gets to keep for their incompetence. AGAIN.
The inconvenience of dealing with FNB has already compromised the happy feelings I had when they made it so simple to open an account in the first place. Platinum account my butt. They make me feel like I need to BEG them to look after my money.
