Debit Order Cancellation... a service that may not be received...
I am irritated by the fact the FNB charges a client to stop a debit order. WHY do we pay these exorbitant banking fees when hardly anything is included. Not to mentioned, they cannot even guarantee that the debit will not go off again as they supplier can just change the amount by a few rand or cents.
I may be dumb but surely if the client (i.e. myself) has requested that XYZ company debit must be stopped, regardless of the amount, XYZ cannot request an additional debit order. Make sense?
As consumers, what are we paying for????? To speak to a consultant for 5 minutes to be told that we will be charged an additional amount for something that can be done via internet banking... AND this may not actually work, thus we are paying for a service that we have not received.
Come on FNB, I thought you were the most innovative bank in Africa?
