Debit Date Debacle

LOL. Don't know where to begin. Changeable se GAT. I called in wanting to change my debit date on a personal loan due to the fact that we get paid on different dates and then get put on hold and the phone gets cut while holding for 6 minutes. I then email and this is the response I get."Please be advised that the debit order date is to be aligned with your salary date. We request a letter from your employer confirming your salary date for us to align the date accordingly. Kindly also note that amending the debit order date might affect the current installment of the loan as interest is calculated daily and compounded monthly to the loan. " No explain to me that they track my account then tell me I qualify for all kinds of Credit, grant me credit without a payslip but now to change a debit date you want a letter from my employer.
