debit card authorization

I made a point of sale transaction of R200 at Midrand Gautrain station on the 27 November 2015. I am under the knowledge that this particular card payment was recorded as an outstanding debit card authorization.<br> This morning I received a notification that a payment of R200 was made from my bank account with the reference as: Purch Gautrain Midrand. I understand the premise of \Outstanding Debit Card Authorisation\". In such an instance the amount is immediately deducted from your available balance while the bank waits for the final settlement request from the merchant, which can take several days. This means the bank reserves the funds until it receives instruction from the merchant to the bank to deduct the exact amount. It reflects on bank balance but is not made available to the customer. In my case the bank on 04/01/2016 posted an entry of R200 to settle the purchase. Why has my bank not reserved the monies as usual to facilitate this transact? FNB has now inconvenienced me by deducting monies from my available balance instead of having had to reserve finds in the first place. I want my R200 back. The bank will have to recover it as a loss."
