Debi Check Mandate Technical Issues (FNB)
Disappointing to see the Technical/IT/BackOffice teams of FNB taking so long to resolve a Debi Check Mandate issue for their Clients. Seems a Banking System update over the weekend has caused some FNB customers not to receive Debi Check Mandates on their APP, ONLINE or the ATM. How long can a fix take to deploy? We have been waiting 4 days already and this is causing financial monthly stress for us.

08 Jun 2026, 07:34Good Morning, 2 weeks and we still in the same place. FNB still can not resolve issues with Debi Check Mandates with account numbers starting with 622. Supposedly they have a fix but awaiting implementation date? I mean if you have a fix, why not roll it out? Why would you want your customers to get more irate? To top it all, the company who is using FNB for their service is happy to sit back and just wait for this fix. I mean, you pay for a service, should you not be pushing pressure on FNB to resolve this? Should you not develop an alternate/temp solution in order for your customers to be happy? Anyway, the best part is, i received a pvt message stating a complaint has been logged (Ref ***NF) from FNB side. This call was investigated by a front desk customer care agent who does not know there is a problem with their debi check mandates and CLOSED the call. Still waiting for his manageress (Celestine) to call me back from last week.
