Dazed and Confused: The FNB Connect Experience

I app**** for an FNB connect SIM contract for myself. So far so good. Then I apply for one for my wife... this causes a 'discrepancy' on the system, and I get an email saying to contact FNB with a phone number and a reference number. Hours of phone calls later, I'm told they 'don't sell Flexi Connect on the phone, only on the website'. I tell them I tried on the website and it's not working. I give them the reference number. They don't know what a reference number is. They tell me they will send me a blank SIM which I can activate as I choose online. I tell them that I need to port my wife's old number. They tell me that's a different service centre and I should spend another three hours on the phone trying to explain. At this point I have cancelled the contract due to the incredibly poor systems and services FNB has displayed.

Really really disappointed. Terrible service. Terrible systems.
