****************

The experience was for an employee who needed a bank statement for proof of address when applying for his learners license. Since he did not have his bank card on him he had to go inside the bank and request the statement. It cost him R30. This was dully disclosed at the time so the gripe is not with the banking clerk. What I cannot understand is how that figure is derived. R30 for a printed bank statement for proof of address.

Its an A4 piece of paper The ink for the bank stamp And the service/time of the banking clerk is already earning a monthly salary.

How do you arrive at this ridiculous figure?

I now fully understand the term ****************.
