After nearly 9 month fighting to get my acc closed, I am still getting messages and advertising from FNB. I Explicitly insisted that ALL personal data not required by law must be erased acc to the Rica / PoPI act. FNB just ignores such requests and continues to use personal data for advertising and continues to charge personal information with 3rd parties. A direct violation of the data protection act. But I guess one needs to involve the national consumer protection agency before FNB stays within the law. Shocking practice!!!
