Customer service at FNB? What the hell is that??
This is probably the worst bank I have ever banked with regarding customer service, and service in general.
Firstly, after a month of opening my account, my account gets locked because they didn't scan in my ID when they opened my account, instead, they used an old ID copy of mine they had from years back when I opened my first bank account. I emailed them, tried phoning them, and after a few days of no contact from the bank, I finally went to the bank and resolved the issue myself. After a week, I received an email saying the matter is resolved... No kidding? I resolved it myself.
As time went by, I had no issues, but when I tried to pay my money from PayPal into my FNB account, an error popped up saying there was a hard lock on my account, and I couldn't transfer my funds. No one contacted me saying there is an issue, and I haven't received any emails or texts from FNB regarding this. Knowing that the customer service is extremely poor, I tried contacting them again via email, but as I should have expected, I've been waiting the whole week so far, and no reply!
I can't just leave my work and go to the bank every time there is an issue. In my line of work, time is money. And one would think that with COVID going around, they would actually improve their customer service to reduce the risk, but FNB has the worst customer service that I've ever seen, compared to any company I've ever dealt with...
So FNB, if somehow you see this message, I would really appreciate it if you start doing your work. I am very upset, and really disappointed in the poor service I am receiving. Apparently, replying to my emails is asking too much, so I probably shouldn't be expecting any replay from this review, either.
