Customer loyalty means nothing to FNB. They demand every cent from you.
I had an old business that I closed and genuinely forgot about the FNB cheque account after a few months. So it was force closed with an outstanding balance of R300+- and I receive a call out of the blue from lawyers demanding that I settle. If FNB really cared about their clients they'd see that I have over R200 000 in assets with them and I could easily settle their measly R300. Maybe try contacting your clients first before handing them over to lawyers and threaten to sue them. Anyway, that's all I need to see their true colors so I will be shutting down everything I have with you.

17 Mar 2021, 15:16So after all this I get a scripted reply about the process of account handover etc etc. NO addressing of the issue except defending themselves. As I stated before it seems FNB will rather lose a client over R300 (which I'm willing to pay and always was). Good luck to the rest of your clients. Please advise on the way forward to get you your miserable R300 and at the same time what you need from me to shut everything I have with you.
