Credit Report - Issue

Hope you are all well,

I am very disappointed that when I called last week and asked for an account to be removed of my credit profile, I was told that it will take up to 6 months. This is really unacceptable as this has been there since March 2020, it's been exactly a year and now I have to wait another 6 months. I cannot get how this can be acceptable at all, something that was paid of a year ago is still reflecting on my credit profile. I need this removed immediately as I need to apply for credit and do not want this on my profile. The bank has had a year to update this and I will not wait longer so I suggest that whoever is responsible for this does their job as this is not acceptable.
