Credit enquiry

Yesterday on the 17/02/2024 I went to FNB to open easy account which I made it very clear to Consultant I only want savings account and she never informed me that credit check will be performed and on what grounds and who's permission was granted...I am requesting FNB to remove this enquiry on my name!
