Credit card woes
I stopped my credit card on September 14 and ordered a replacement card to be delivered by 5 working days. On Monday 17 Sept I receive the following sms at 07.33 Our courier partner DSV will deliver your Credit card as agreed. For more info call ********** 404 FNB-div of FRB Ltd NCRCP20,
at 14.13 I receive the following sms
FNB :-) Due to unforeseen circumstances, there has been a delay with the production of your FNB Credit Card. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. FNB a div of FRB Ltd"
After enquiring with premier banking I am told to ignore the above sms. I have now been calling premier banking about 8 times and every time a different excuse. Courier claims to have called me and left a voice mail but none on my phone. I complained to fnb care, but they don't care. I was told on one occasion that my card was not ordered, shocked I asked the premier banker to look again, and sure enough it was or was it?. Courier claimed I refused face to face delivery, ouch unbelievable. My original instruction was to deliver to my branch. On Saturday 22 Sept I was called by some one from dispute resolution saying courier will call me on Tuesday 25, I still am waiting for the call. I called fnb premier twice today and still cat and mouse, they say courier will deliver as soon as possible, which seems mission impossible. When I ask to speak to a manager they cut the call off. In the mean time I am arranging international accommodation and find it very difficult to do so without a credit card. Dispute resolution only causing more dispute. I give up.
your's sincerely Dr Pravin Singh
