Credit Card *******

The Credit Card statement states "payment due on the 1st". I paid the full outstanding amount on the 1st. Every month on the 24th I pay my full outstanding amount. This month I paid on the 1st.

After my full payment went through, FNB also put a stop-order through and my account was in credit.

This caused 2 debit orders to be returned at Standard Bank as I do a very precise budget and I was charged R115 for each returned debit order (R230).

The 1st person I spoke to suggested I do a cash withdrawal for the over charged anount out the FNB credit card to get the money back. This employee is obviously not aware of the cost of a cash withdrawal from the c/card.

The 2nd person said I should pay at least 3 days before the due date. How does that make sense??? Why advise people to pay by the 1st and then also do a stop order without checking if the client had actually paid?

I will be closing my FNB account after I have used up all my e-bucks.
