Credit Card problems

I am in Korea for the next 10 months and have bought something online only to have the seller cancel it because I need an authorisation code from my bank to proceed. Do you think I can get a hold of my bank to do this? No. I have called several times only to be put on hold until my money runs out. Why is there an 'international' number to dial that redirects you to another number that puts you on hold? If you are calling from overseas, you usually can't afford to be put on hold. Then, when I send a query, not once, but twice, I only get a response in an email saying that they couldn't get a hold of me. Did you perhaps try calling me? I don't seem to have a missed call, how convenient for FNB. The sender did not include her contact number, and with all the warnings that we get about phishing, how am I even certain that this person is from FNB? Which makes it even worse, because it means that FNB has made no effort to assist me with this problem at all. Can someone please tell me how I can get either my authorisation number withouth being put on hold and running out of money, or how I can get a refund please?
