Credit card paid off and closed in 2017, but FNB never removed it from my credit bureau record

I have a Credit card number *** which I paid off and closed in 2017, but FNB never removed it from my credit bureau record, as was their responsibility to do so. Since last week I have called 4 different numbers ***, ***, *** + *** given to me to contact, trying to get through to someone to assist me in having it removed from my credit bureau record, but to no avail, cause they want proof that I have the card with me, after I tell them that I closed the account in 2017 and the consultant cut up my card, so how am I supposed to present a card that was cut up 4 years ago?? No one wants to assist me and puts me through to whomever and then I get cut off the whole time. this is really sad, disappointing and frustrating to say the least. I just want my closed credit card to be removed from my credit bureau record - is it so hard to do that for me????? Please do the right thing and assist me
