Credit card non-delivery and branch issues

Went to the FNB today because my credit card (after waiting basically 2 months) never been delivered. I've been told today that the "delivery" can't be cancelled, and, if I do, there will be a card cancellation fee. What's even more "exciting", if I do order a new card the they will still be delivering it to "my home". Now, here's the whole issue. I got a call in very early December from "Takealot" which is weird, because I hadn't ordered anything. So, it rings twice, I go to answer it, the call drops. So, I receive an sms that notified me that they're the courier company for my FNB card. So, I call them back. TWICE. The phone rings and rings and rings. TWENTY MINUTES LONG.

So, I called up FNB, a consultant answered, after the whole verification thing, they told me they got a hold of the driver and requested the card to be delivered to the nearest branch (the one I had requested they deliver it to) and that the courier company would call once it arrives. So, I thought all's well. Two WEEKS go by nothing. A MONTH.

When I originally was asked how I'd like the card to be received, I was excited to have it delivered straight to my door and not have to drive out to the branch. When I requested today to have it rather delivered to the branch, the lady at FNB tell me this is no longer done. ***. I made the application 2 months ago and now the original option isn't even there anymore??

Even more, when I drove out to the branch and explained the situation to the clerk, she told me that I need to go on the FNB website and just cancel the card there. I was literally IN THE BANK -why do we even have branches anymore if the clerks (whom had always been able to assist no matter the problem) won't help you?

I'm so disappointed and so unhappy about this. I've been with this bank for the past 15 years and now this happens? I've been with the company through years and I've always been impressed by their awesome service. But this?? I'm not even kidding, I can't believe their customer service has been so utterly dissapointing. I'm now looking for a new bank and I'm moving my accounts.
