Credit Card Keeps on being Declined

Dear FNB, I have app**** for a credit card and I keep on getting declined but offered loans in return! I get offered credit cards from other banking institutions but wanted it on my banking profile and thought I would get a better interest rate based on all my products being held with FNB, but alas I get declined! FNB please let me know if I must change banks because I feel like I am being discriminated againt based on me defaulting on a credit card in 2009 which I paid settled.
