Credit Card Disaster and Poor Service Delivery

I am incredibly disappointed with FNB.

On Sunday 07 January 2018, I attempted to process a credit card limit increase offer which had been pre-authorised on my online banking. After three attempts at processing it, nothing happened and no quotation was sent to me. So I assumed the online offer was as a result of a glitch in the system or online banking. Either way, it was not successfully processed as it did not reflect on my credit card balance.

Then on Friday 19 January 2018, a new offer appeared on my online banking for an increase on my credit card and I processed it successfully. Increasing my limit to Y amount (higher than the first offer). It reflected on my card and online banking and so everything was 100% in order. Then all of a sudden on Monday, 22 January 2018, I get a notification informing my my credit card limit has been increased to X amount (lower than amount app**** on Friday)???

How can a prior, unsuccessful, application be processed after a second application has been successfully processed and my limit effectively reduced not only to less than what I agreed to most recently, but effectively putting my card into arrears. I had to process an urgent R4100 short term loan in order to prevent my credit card from going into arrears.

Then when I phone I get pushed from pillar to post between two departments who cannot agree to whom I should speak to until I lose my temper and force Luke from Premier Banking to handle my query instead of transfering me for a fourth time?

Luke was not 100% certain of FNB's turnaround time to have this situation resolved, but advised it should not take more than 48 hours which means I should have heard from someone at FNB by 15:00 on Wednesday 24 January. Lo and behold, I have heard nothing from no one. Come on FNB, I have been so happy with your service, but I really think I should downgrade from Premier Banking because there is nothing "Premier" about the shoddy service I am receiving.

I want my card rectified to the latest agreement dated 19 January 2018 and my credit limit restored to the amount stipulated on that agreement.

Why must I resort to Hello Peter just to resolve an issue? I am so disappointed, please could someone either contact me to rectify the situation immediately. Alternatively please return my accounts back to the state they were in on 19 January 2018.
