Credit Card Delivery Security Risk

I would like to bring to your immediate attention the security risk of the delivery of my credit card. On Thursday 1 March I received a call that my credit card would be delivered through the takealot.com delivery service. I was advised that the delivery would take place before 17:00 and I would need to provide my ID upon delivery. Unfortunately no delivery was made but at 16:00 I received a SMS stating that my card was successfully delivered. After going around the office asking if anyone accepted my delivery with no success I assumed that the SMS was sent by mistake and decided to wait for the next day. I called the number provided on the SMS to track the delivery but was informed that the card was successfully delivered and signed for by our Receptionist at the office. This is highly ********* and a HUGE security risk, the Receptionist could have ****** this card and activated it herself as all personal information is available at our offices. I tried to log a formal complaint on a call to the credit card division when I called to activate my card, I was informed that all calls were recorded but advised to log the complaint here on Hello Peter. Your feedback in this regard is highly appreciated.
