Credit card confusion for dummies
I received an email today... "Kindly note that delivery fee is R600,do you accept/reject quote." from the international card deliveries at fnb???? Why??? What???? fnb premier decided for some or other strange and unknown reason, that if my initials is JS and I live in South Africa, and somebody with the initials CC lives in France, her credit card must be ordered on my ID number and my name and I must pay the delivery... must I pay for the unknown stranger's purchases as well? This is not identity ***** - I can see the applicant's name, surname, email, phone number and delivery address. I can see her fault request what she typed. Absolutely nothing in common with mine. This is plain stupidity from fnb's side - don't know what else to call it.
Reaction on secure chat? I am still waiting for an answer after 30 minutes. The chatter disappeared. Reaction on email? None. Reaction on fault logged via internet banking? None
