Credit Card Closure Nightmare, High interest rates

I wanted to close my Platinum cheque and credit account with FNB last week. My interest rate is high and I have been offered extremely good interest rates (Prime - 0.25%) at another bank with better service and Private Banking. This is after I asked for a review last year where FNB told me they couldn`t give me better rate than the one I had. Upon closure, they suddenly interested in reviewing it. I was told to hold on until the bank charges for the month go off and then close it off. I transferred money into to both accounts and it was showing 0 on my accounts. I go again today to close off I am told to pay some more money for monthly fees (they already deducted some about 3days ago) and top of it all I am told l have to pay R153.86 which has changed to R154.14 within a space of 2 hours for interest on my credit card. The consultant who helped me today on the phone Chefney was very rude to me. I have been banking with FNB for close to 8 years from when I was a student and this is the first time an FNB consultant speaks to me rudely. She informed me that l was supposed to get a settlement amount which l didn`t know about. I asked her where l was supposed to get that information whether it was on the fine print of the agreement but she told me it was my duty to know. I believe if I had known that I would have done so. This is unacceptable service and all the more reason to leave. Apparently the branch manager in Bloemhof was supposed to do an exit interview but he/she didn`t see the need to do that with me for reason known to them. FNB extremely disappointed after such loyalty.
