Credit card application

I went into the bank last week to apply for a credit card. I specifically told the lady that was assisting me that I want only R4000 on the card - three times. I received an sms today from the bank to call a number to finalise my application. After speaking to the second lady she said my limit on the card is R30000 and that she cannot change it I must call an 011 number. I called and I have been put from pillar to post - no one can help. Why should I be calling everyone in FNB after I went into the branch to apply? This is completely unacceptable. First I could not apply online, I was asked to visit the branch which I did and which you guys will obviously charge me for. Them I need to call everyone in the bank to correct a mistake you guys caused - no one can help me. Come to think thiat I am actually buying a product from you and Im going through all this. Please FNB, I have been banking for years with you and right now I am not happy with your service
