Credit Card Account Closure

Loyal customer for 15 years. Emigrated in 2019 and forced to close my FNB credit card account for the purposes of financial emigration. Bank account closed without difficulty but following numerous emails, phone calls and phone application messages over a month duration, FNB cannot provide written confirmation that my credit card account is closed. According to numerous employees of FNB this is not possible. Doesn’t seem like an onerous request.
